Volunteering
The volunteering unit in the Social Services Division promotes the issue of urban volunteering, including the issue of volunteering for welfare populations.
The city of Modi'in Maccabim Reut is full of volunteer organizations in almost every field of life.
The volunteer activity is done with love, care and giving, the unit works in full cooperation with the forum of volunteer organizations in the city. The volunteers make a substantial and significant contribution to the community, help the weaker sections, provide a feeling of security, encouragement and a supportive shoulder.
The organizations
Provision of meals after birth
This group was established with the understanding that women, after giving birth, need a
supportive and enveloping environment. It aims to help during such a stressful and intense
period, by providing hot, tasty and fresh food for every woman giving birth from the Modiוn area
who requests it.
Association of Disabled IDF Veterans
In the Modiin branch, disabled IDF veterans will be able to receive assistance in handling the exercise of
their rights vis-à-vis the Ministry of Defense and the IDF Disabled Persons Association. In addition, the
branch will operate a members' club for the welfare of disabled IDF soldiers, such as enrichment and
leisure classes, interesting lectures, trips throughout the country
