Volunteering
The volunteering unit in the Social Services Division promotes the issue of urban volunteering, including the issue of volunteering for welfare populations.
The city of Modi'in Maccabim Reut is full of volunteer organizations in almost every field of life.
The volunteer activity is done with love, care and giving, the unit works in full cooperation with the forum of volunteer organizations in the city. The volunteers make a substantial and significant contribution to the community, help the weaker sections, provide a feeling of security, encouragement and a supportive shoulder.

העמותה עוסקת בהפעלה של מגוון תכניות חינוכיות בדגש על אוכלוסיות מוחלשות. התוכניות שמות דגש על ילדים ונוער וקידום תעסוקתי לנשים וגברים שלא ממצים את הפוטנציל שלהם ומחפשים להתפתח ולהתקדם העמותה משפיעה בצורה ישירה על מאות ילדים, נוער ומבוגרים. בנוסף העמותה פועלת כבית עבור מספר פרויקטים ויוזמות של תושבי מודיעין ברמה העירונית הארצית והבינלאומית בתחומי הרווחה, קהילה והסברה.
Department of Social Services
The Welfare and Social Services Department provides a wide range of services to residents of the city
who find themselves in a temporary or prolonged crisis situation due to personal and family life events
and who require assistance, support, counseling and professional accompaniment. Skilled teams of
social workers, assisted by other workers and volunteers, are readily available to families in the city to
find ways and solutions and to help them bring about change to improve their quality of life.

mother to mother
Mother to Mother ( Aym la’Aym) is a voluntary program designed for pregnant and postpartum
women.
The heart of the programme is the matching of a female volunteer from the city to each mother
and each birth (not necessarily the first birth), for home visits of two hours a week until the baby
is one year old. The volunteers build a warm and supportive relationship with the mother and
help her in a variety of areas.
