Mediation - Emek Hashavah

Emek Hashavah is a community conflict management and settlement center that
operates in the city of Modi'in Maccabim Reut.
The centre was established in 2014 with philanthropic assistance and operates in
co-operation with Modi'in Municipality and the multidisciplinary centre under the
Department of Social Services and Citizen Advisory Service.
The centre offers alternative ways to manage and settle disputes as an alternative to
the court. To this end, we have established relationships with a wide variety of
professionals - mediators, arbitrators, therapists and trainers - the ways offered at
the centre are efficient and accessible ways that are conducted outside the walls of
the court.

Another goal of the project is to assimilate values of speech culture in the
community. Therefore, we offer lectures, workshops, seminars and courses to the
general public, organizations and workplaces.
The two goals complement each other and come together to promote a community
and social culture of dialogue, close communication and conversation between
people.
