
About the Volunteer Organizations
Who we are
The volunteer organization, in cooperation with the municipality of Modi'in Maccabim Reut, coordinates the volunteering activities in the city.
About 90 volunteer organizations operate in the city, employing about 6000 volunteers.
The organization helps residents, residents, youth and businesses to volunteer in the volunteering frameworks in the city and helps connect the volunteers and the residents.
Vision and goals
The volunteering organization in the city of Modi'in Maccabim Reot works to encourage and expand the volunteering activity in the city and make the city a leader in the fields of community assistance and the social involvement of its residents.

Full coordination with the various bodies in the municipality - holds the file of volunteering in the city, activities of the welfare department and municipal bodies in the fields of community and society, education, spokespeople, culture and sports as well as legal advice.

Building and nurturing relationships with business owners and companies operating in the city to integrate them into the volunteering activity and contribution to the community.

Organizational Structure

Chairman of the volunteer organizations
The structure includes the chairman of the volunteer organizations elected by the forum of chairman of the volunteer organizations. He is the leader, center and manager of the volunteer organization in the city.
The chairman of the volunteer organizations acts in obedience to the decisions of the executive committee of the organization, under the guidance of the holder of the volunteer portfolio in the municipality and in full coordination with the volunteer coordinator in the municipality.
Also, the chairman activates the organization's executive teams with the assistance of the various municipal officials to implement the decisions of the executive committee and the organization's work plans.
The executive committee of the organization
The executive committee of the volunteer organization is a body whose representatives are chosen by the forum of the chairman of the volunteer organizations in the city, and it includes the chairman of the volunteer organization in the city, in addition 4 chairmen of registered organizations operating in the city and the representative of the municipality - the volunteer coordinator.
The executive committee serves as the headquarters body whose role is to discuss and approve the organization's bylaws, the organization's strategy, the vision, goals and tasks, the organizational structure, work plans, resources and budgets.
The executive committee will act under the legal advice of the volunteer organization's legal advisor and will be assisted by organizational advice.
Legal advice
The organization will be accompanied on a full volunteer basis by a legal advisor who is a qualified attorney at the Israeli Bar Association (hereinafter: "the Ombudsman"). The consultation will be on any legal issue required by the organization, including approval of various actions and presence in the election process of the executive committee and the chairman of the organization.
The ombudsman is a direct appointment of the chairman of the organization. The legal consultation will be done in coordination and cooperation with the ombudsman of the municipality

organizational consulting
The volunteer organization in the city will be accompanied by organizational consulting that focuses on the organization and the processes within and around it, and is intended to help improve its functioning. The organizational consultancy will support the volunteer organizations according to a work plan coordinated with the volunteering coordinator in the city and with her approval for the budgeting of the activity.
The purpose of the consulting process is to help the organization define and achieve its goals and grow, as well as to help the chairman and managers of the volunteer organizations understand and define the goals of the organization to coordinate formation activities and joint work between the organizations.
Active and registered organizations
Volunteer organizations and associations operating in the city and registered as an organization operating within the framework of the volunteer organizations in the city.
The chairman of the registered volunteer organizations is entitled to choose and be elected to the executive board and to the position of chairman.
Registered volunteer organizations will assist with tools and knowledge for recruiting volunteers and resources and conducting extensive activities that will be assigned by the volunteer organization as a priority for the realization of their volunteer activities in the city.
The rules of the organization's statutes will apply to registered organizations. The executive committee of the volunteer organizations will approve the registered organizations, after the approval of the ombudsman.
It is hereby clarified that the volunteer site will include only registered volunteer organizations.
Active organizations and voluntary initiatives in the city that are not registered
Organizations and volunteer activities in the city, which are not registered, are not part of the organization but will be able to help the organization as much as possible and according to the possibilities that the volunteer organization will have. The volunteer organization will work to recruit registered organizations.
Organizations that are not registered will not be able to be elected to the executive committee and to the position of chairman of the volunteer organizations according to the regulations.
Executive team
Several work teams will implement the decisions of the executive committee and bring about the execution of the work plan.
All teams, including the service center, will operate on a fully voluntary basis.

The service center will act as a focal point that helps in all areas of volunteering in the city, for residents, residents, volunteers and volunteer organizations.
Organizations will be able to contact the hotline with various assistance requests, which will be answered according to the capacity and options available to the organization at the time, and at the same time will work for cooperation between the various organizations for this purpose.
Volunteers will be able to contact the hotline to get help with knowledge, guidance, performing volunteer activities. The center will act as a center for receiving volunteers and new organizations, and at the same time will act as a center for residents who need assistance through the volunteer organizations operating in the city.
The center will act as a contact center and coordinate activities for the emergency volunteer organizations in cooperation with the welfare and security centers in the city.

Teams will be established according to the need for ongoing management and execution of projects to realize the goals of the volunteer organizations.
The work teams will operate mainly in the areas of: advertising and marketing and management of the media and content on the site, processes and technologies, contact with businesses, recruitment of volunteers and resources and operation of events.
At the head of the implementation teams will be team leaders from among volunteers in the city with a professional background and experience in each team's fields of activity, with the goal that at least one organization chairman will be included in each team.
All the activities of the work teams will be carried out in coordination with the relevant municipal bodies according to the need.

Institutionalizing the activities of volunteer organizations in the volunteer organization (regulations, processes).
Establishing the database of volunteer organizations and others and managing them on the platform.
Defining processes and teams for recruiting volunteers and resources.
Full management of the organization's annual calendar, the organization's activities and the activities of the registered organizations.

Modi'in Maccabim Reot is one of the leading cities in Israel in the field of volunteering, thanks to the unique human capital and the high-quality population living in the city.
The city is growing and developing and currently has about one hundred thousand inhabitants. Accordingly, the volunteer organizations operating in it are also growing, currently numbering over 90 organizations, including members, you, thousands of volunteers.

The desire to act voluntarily for the sake of others is not self-evident. She inspires and pride and what's more, she builds a quality and solid community and society. The residents of the city, who choose to volunteer, strengthen the community and society in the city and thanks to each and every one of you, our city is better and more beautiful.
The volunteer site is intended to serve as a home for you and for the residents who wish to join the blessed activity. We are blessed in a city whose leaders and Francia see the volunteer activity as an important value among the city's young and old residents, who help and cherish the volunteers and the heads of the organizations that work day and night for a good and healthy society in our city. We, the volunteer organizations, work in full cooperation with the city leadership in the city on its various wings, and for that we are deeply grateful.

The volunteering unit in the Social Services Division promotes the issue of urban volunteering, including the issue of volunteering for welfare populations.
